Site Information

  • Daily permit fee is $12 per day including HST, per vehicle unit ($6 per day for seniors over age 65 or disabled persons). Please note CASH ONLY.
  • There are 50 campsites at 2-Mile, and 20 of these are lakefront
  • Sites are on a first-come basis. There is no reservation system in effect.
  • "Take out what you bring in". There are no garbage facilities on site. The Cherryville landfill is open Tuesday and Saturday
  • Bring your own drinking water.
  • There are no electrical or water hook-ups for RV's.
  • There is no cell phone coverage here and the closest public pay phone is in Cherryville.
  • Provincial regulation prohibits ATV's and dirt bikes off trailer in the campground.
  • Quiet hours are between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. and the gate is locked at this time.
  • No fireworks (Section 31 of the Wildfire Act)
  • Check-out time is noon and maximum stay is 14 days.
  • Firewood is available for $5 per bundle or feel free to bring your own wood (no nails, please)
  • The Host Couple, Jules and Elaine, live on site from mid-May to mid-September.
  • Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome. (Please pick up after your pet.)
  • The Lumby RCMP make regular patrols in this area.
